Greetings✌🏽

I could do a typical introductory post, “Hi, my name is ________, blah blah blah.”

But quite frankly—I really don’t want to lol. Most of what I would say are things you probably deducted from the very obvious context clues provided before you clicked on this post, anyway, such as:

• I’m an author. At the moment, primarily of poems + short stories that tend to make people cry. (So I’ve been tooooold. shrugs)

• Second book’s on the way! (which I mean 🎉woohoo🎉 but I’d rather not use this post primarily to promote and whatnot.)

I’d rather use the attention that I currently have of yours to give a tiny life update—in true bookstagram #whatthisweek fashion ✨:

what I’m reading 📖:

• (audio) ~ Magnolia Parks series 🐝(reread) – Jessa Hastings. Just finished The Long Way Home 🎧.

  • you’ll probably hear me mention this series a lot. not only because I’m currently in the middle of a reread, but also because I’d read Jessa Hastings’ grocery list 📋.

• (physical) ~ The Favorites – Layne Fargo

what I’m watching 📺:

• Law and Order: SVU. A day doesn’t go by when I’m not watching it, tbh.

• Also, High Potential is a new favorite of mine!

what I’m listening to 🎶:

• Fair warning—my music taste is a very, um... motley assortment lol each update will probably look completely different from the last. But LATELY, it’s been lots of JoJo, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, FLO, Frank Ocean… and of course, Taylor Swift 🤭.

what I’m looking forward to ☀️:

• Book 2’s release!!

• adding a few more items to the store soon 🥰

• getting back to guitar lessons (I MISS my guitar)

• being able to have time to paint again! (a brush in my hand is one of my favorite feelings in the entire world, a feeling I really wish I could write down properly to convey it in its fullness)
