what I’m reading 📖:

• (audio) ~ Magnolia Parks series (reread) 🐝– Jessa Hastings. Now on DH: The Great Undoing 🖼️.

  • ughh, I love this quote. it’s from my favorite chapter, the iconic Ch. 51 ✨: “It’s the great undoing of my heart as I know it. She’s made herself at home… put her feet up on my left rib. Over the mantelpiece she hung her own portrait up herself, that little minx. Best painting I’ve ever seen, too. Better than any woman anyone has ever painted in the history of time, a face I’d win battles for. A face I’d lose anything for. Even her.”

• (physical) ~ my own actually, lol. thought it’d be fun to read them while not in work mode… and the experience I had while doing so honestly needs its own post 😶.

what I’m watching 📺:

• Hm, lately? If it hasn’t been sports, it’s been rewatching favorite movies. Barbie being one in particular, one of my favorites ever.

  • (and yes, that is very ironic if you’ve read my books. especially ironic if you’ve already read the second. but, I digress.)

• I’d be remiss if I didn’t state this: for future reference, it is safe to assume that even if I don’t explicitly list it, Law and Order: SVU is always on the list. Along with any other procedural cop show that tends to fall underneath that umbrella. (Chicago P.D., NCIS: New Orleans, etc. Always watching something to ease that detective itch in my brain.)

what I’m listening to 🎶:

• primarily old school rap—sprinkled with a bit of 80s, a bit of country. 

  • (speaking of, you should give Lainey Wilson’s album Whirlwind a listen. “Hang Tight Honey” & “Ring Finger”…🤌🏼.)

what I’m looking forward to ☀️:

• starting school next month! 📚

• using all of the new school supplies I bought 🫣😂
